It’ll be a complicated task if a teacher doesn’t apply the technical method and focuses more on hard work than smart work. It’ll be easy for children to digest things if teachers use modern methods designed by professionals according to children’s psyche.

Most teachers make the big mistake of pressuring children to cramp the sequence of the letters used in their names and then write it accordingly. Never do this! There are several methods to teach name-writing to children. Now I’ll explain different ways and apply strategies by which name learning will become fun for preschoolers.

  • Take the printout of the child’s name in a large font. The color of the letters will not necessarily be black. They will be the favorite colors of children. It’ll captivate children towards the printout. It’s human psychology that the unusual things remain saved in his mind. That will be the same case. The student will remember letters and their sequence in this way. Now, it’s important to discuss how the student will write his name on his own.

  • Hand over the board marker (don’t mix it with a permanent marker) to the child and make him feel free to write on his own on the board. If the words are strongly grasped in the child’s mind, he’ll surely write all the words eventually after many efforts.

  • Practice, Practice, Practice. It’s a famous quote that almost every student and teacher knows, but only some of them follow it. Don’t degrade a child if he feels it complicated to write his name; instead, allow him to practice again and again until he becomes proficient in it.
