Sunita was the social worker of society. She was famous for her kindness, and that was why people regarded her much. Any person who faced any social problem came towards Sunita. She also opened organizations for people’s rights. She was a married woman and had a son named Rahul. She fulfilled his every need and desire. Due to the heavy workload, sometimes she came home late. Even she couldn’t prepare Rahul properly for going to school.

One day his husband said: I am fed up with your behaviour. You’re doing good work by helping people, but your son also needs your attention. It should be your first priority to look after your home as a woman.

Sunita: It’s not like that. You earn enough money, due to which we can give our son a good lifestyle. I fulfil his every need.

Husband: Why are you not getting me? He needs your time more than money. The best thing a mother can give her child is her attention.

Sunita went outside, ignoring her husband’s advice. The next day Rahul came near Sunita when she was getting ready for her job.

Rahul: Mom, it’s a meeting today at my school. You have to go with me. The teacher told me that it’s compulsory to come with you.

Sunita: Dear son, I am already late. I’ll meet your teacher next time.

The time continued passing, but Sunita didn’t give attention and time to Rahul but focused on fighting for others’ rights. She never thought that Rahul also had the right to get her care and attention. Rahul had become young. He had become spoiled and kept wasting his time wandering the streets with his friends. He didn’t even go to college and left his studies.

One day, his team was playing cricket in the street. His team lost three consecutive matches. He became very angry and blamed his opponent’s team leader Sushant that his team was cheating to save themselves from defeat. When he could not prove his accusation, he started fighting. He beat Sushant too much and broke his head in anger. When the fight exceeded, police arrived and arrested Rahul. Police called Rahul’s father.

Police: Your son beat the innocent boy for no solid reason. Your son will be given punishment for a long time. The injured boy is in severe condition. Your son deserves punishment.

Rahul’s father came home with heavy depression and called Sunita to return home instantly.

Sunita: I can’t return home now. I’m stuck at work.

Rahul’s father: Please come home right now. Rahul has been arrested.

When Sunita came home, Rahul told her the situation. She instantly went to the police station and requested the police officer too much to leave her son.

Police officer: I cared about you, but I’ll only leave your son if the injured boy forgives your son.

Sunita came to the hospital and fell to Sushant’s mother’s knees.

Sunita: Please forgive my son. It’s not his fault, but it’s my fault. I fought for others’ rights but never cared for my son’s rights. I never had time to teach him the difference between good and bad. If you don’t forgive my son, his future will be destroyed.

Sushant’s mother was a kind woman. She came towards Sushant and said: “Dear, you should forgive Rahul.”

Sushant: No, I cannot. He deserves punishment.

Mother: Son, you have a chance to save another person’s life this time. His career will be destroyed if you don’t forgive him. Actually, it’s his mother’s fault, who never taught him good things. I always teach you good things, that’s why you’re a nice person.

Sushant agreed to his mother’s advice and forgave Rahul. From that day, Sunita gave hard attention to Rahul and taught him the difference between good and bad. After some years, Sushant became a high-ranked officer.

He claims until now that Sushant saved his career, and if he didn’t save him that day, his life would have been destroyed. From this, we can learn how the woman’s behaviour influences her home and society. As a mother, it’s on her hands to save or destroy generations.
