“Mom…Mom…”, My wife, Anna, was blubbering around the scene; that was beyond belief. My mother’s face was hung on my coat hanger. Her body was fixed with the wall in the direction of the hanger.
My mind returned to its normal position after a month. Now, I was stepping toward the case to find my mom’s criminal. I was making great efforts days and nights, conducting various analyses to identify the criminal. But something else happened! I saw a terrible scene. My younger brother was buried under the ground. His face was missing. When my family searched for it, they found it buried in another location in our garden.
When my emotions got controlled, I felt somehow my brother’s case was related to my mother’s, as in both murders, faces were detached from the victim’s body. It’s hard to believe, but I saw five murders after my brother’s killing.
In all scenes, the face had gone. Police who had done nothing yet reported that it was the “Game of a Serial Killer”.
Our area was under high security to resist any further damage. However, another murder happened. Police found the note on the crime scene.
“I’ll not stop until this area becomes humanless”.
As it was a tight security system, police were sure that no outsider had passed the area’s premises. They claimed that the criminal belonged to our area. It was terrible news for all of us as all families in our area almost knew each other and their activities. But we could even understand why it was so easier for the criminal to play their game in such a smooth way.
I was traveling deep somewhere in my thoughts when I heard a strange voice. Anna was crying in such a heavy voice. There were eight dolls in front of her, and seven of them were faceless. She said to the eighth one, “it’s your turn, my dear.”
I was just trying to align with uncontrolled thoughts in my brain when I suddenly watched Anna writing someone’s name with blood on a wall. My eyes got stuck! My brain paused! My blood boiled! My body froze! The name was “John.” I’m John.
So, guys, it was a story with an open end. What do you think about Anna’s mental state?
